Middle of the night, sitting on the floor, in my room, crying from doubtful reasons, enjoying my depression, feeling pity for myself, living the most personal side of my life(usually I only read a book, watch a movie, eat or navigate the internet)... On the edge of doing the most reckless things I have done in the last five years...
The phone is ringing. My team leader, which fortunately is also a good friend, so I didn't get aversion answering this call, "Are you sleeping?" "Uhmmm, no, not yet!" ... "There's this thing we have to implement tonight!" All of a sudden I'm pulled out of my (other) life and get totally involved to the current situation. "what, what happened?" Seconds before one could have sworn that I was down and there was nothing to shorten my pain, that only time has the power to heal. And yet, another demonstration that assumptions are wrong. "Do not make assumptions, do not have expectations!"(if you want your life boring and with no surprises :).
The night continued till sunrise and by the end of it I got to the conclusion that Arbeit macht frei!
Două situații care m-au uns pe suflet

You poor thing !
I have found some funny work quotes, hope it cheers you up:
Conway's Law: In any organization there will always be one person who knows what is going on - This person must be fired.
"Every day I get up and look through the Forbes list of the richest people in America. If I'm not there, I go to work." (Robert Orben)
Cannon's Law:If you tell the boss you were late for work because you had a flat tire, the next morning you will have a flat tire.
Funny perspective :))
